Why I Write About Photography (Even if My Substack Is in Spanish)

Hi, I’m Fernando —a photographer and visual storyteller from Central America.

This Substack is mostly written in Spanish, but the language I use most often is photography.

I created this space to share the images, films, photobooks and reflections that shape the way I see.

Sometimes it’s a portrait, Sometimes it’s a moment from a movie, Sometimes it’s a memory I never photographed —but still carries the weight of an image.

If you’re someone who loves slow images, imperfect light, and stories that unfold frame by frame, you might enjoy this place. I write every Monday, and I always try to write with the eye, not just with words.
